Research · The Greats' Index

The evidence behind a life that lasts.

Modern wellness runs on anecdote and trend. Longevity research studies the body; psychology studies the mind; the science of meaning sits somewhere else again. The Greats' Index brings them into one place — an ongoing study of what actually helps a person live long, think clearly, and stay true to who they are — turned into small, usable practices, not theories to file away.

Why the Index exists

Everyone has advice. Almost no one has evidence.

The wellness industry is vast and mostly anecdotal — built on what sells, and tuned for the next trend rather than the next decade. The real science exists, but it lives in silos: longevity research on the body, psychology on the mind, the study of meaning somewhere else again. Each field is deep. None of them talks to the others.

You don't live in silos. Your sleep shapes how you think; your sense of purpose shapes your body. The Index studies the whole system, and asks the question the industry skips: what actually lengthens a clear, healthy life — and what keeps you living as yourself, rather than as the version the momentum chose?

What we study
Mind

Clarity

How attention, belief and decision hold up under the conditions of modern work and information.

Body

Vitality

How sleep, movement, light and rest translate into the energy people have for their lives.

Spirit

Meaning

How belonging, purpose and direction rise and fall — and what tends to restore them.

The questions we are asking

Honest questions, before easy answers.

AlignmentHow aligned do people actually feel with the lives they are living?

MeaningWhy does achievement so often arrive without the meaning we expected it to carry?

BodyWhich small, daily conditions most reliably precede a person's clearest, most vital days?

MindWhat is the real distance between what people know they should do and what they do?

SelfHow often, and why, do people quietly outgrow lives they worked hard to build?

How we work

The Index draws on member reflections (shared only with consent and always anonymised), structured surveys, and the wider scientific literature on psychology, physiology and meaning. We report what we find plainly — including where the honest answer is we don't yet know.

Our commitments
  • Consent first. Your reflections are private by default.
  • Anonymised, aggregated, never sold.
  • No fabricated certainty — questions before conclusions.
  • Findings shared openly with members.
The first report

The first findings land soon.

Add your name to get them first — clear, usable, and yours to put to work. Take part in the study if you like, or simply read what we learn.
